Red Cedar River Winter Scenic
I shot this on an early spring day in late March of this year in mid-Michigan. I knew I only had a couple of hours to shoot snowy branches before major melting, and liked the blues reflected in the river of my local park. Comments welcome.

I like the reflected over-arching trees in this image, Brian. Beautiful composition.

I knew I'd seen this before--this image is part of the banner, Brian! Nice work.

Yes, it is the image in the 'aphers' area of the banner, sandwiched between your lovely snow on pine needles image and Toni's gorgeous ice mounds over Lake Michigan. In fact, I'm just coming in and warming up from a couple hours out in the yard taking similar pics as yours. I have several pine trees just outside my windows and we had several inches of snow overnight. I haven't checked them out on the monitor yet, but I'll post one in the New Year if I have any keepers. Thanks, as always, for the comments.

One of those shots that make me wish I was there to see it.

Outstanding, Brian! The lighting is very good...love the snow on the trees and the arches on the branches...very nice!

Excellent shot Brian! I can see why it was selected for use in the new banner.
