Warm Fork
Here's a little abstract work from yesterday after getting my chore of cutting firewood finished up. Just had to get my camera out for a few shots before leaving Warm Fork. This little creek is one of my favorite places to visit - anytime of the year. After the rain a few days ago, it was back up and running nicely. The clarity of the water is just incredible...but the temperature is anything but warm.

Bill I really like it. The colors and pattern are very unique. I have thought about trying more images like this but haven't taken the time.

This is really nice Bill. The color and tones are beautiful. Can't describe what it looks like which is exactly what an abstract should be. Nice job, I bet it was fun making it.

Bill this is mesmerising! The submerged detail combined with the moving water and fast shutter speed really created an amazing abstract. You should print this on translucent film and mount it in front of a window. Stained glass without the glass. Great work my friend! :toast:

Happy New Year! :wavey:

Amazing water patterns! I love how this is truly one of a kind and you can never reshoot it.
Happy New Year, and I look forward to seeing more great images in 2009!

Really nice, Bill - and no matter what you experienced, it looks warm to me.

Bill, I really like it. It looks like liquid gold and will make an outstanding print.

Beautiful work, Bill. I assume you were shooting almost straight down for f/4.5 to have yielded sufficient depth of field?

Hey Bill. Interesting perspective. It looks like a molten metal shot. I like it....

Great abstract and good eye. My attempts at abstracts rarely work out.
