I went to MacLennan Park on Sun. morning at sunrise and had an awesome time hiking on the frozen trails and seeing all the ice-coated trees and dusting of snow in the woods. It was peaceful, quiet and serene and the only sound was the honking of flocks of geese as they flew in and out of the nearby river.

Here are my best wishes to everyone at CSNP for a happy new year, filled with great moments experienced in nature and, of course, awesome photos!

From the looks of it, your time in MacLennon Park was very productive indeed! I've seen the images you posted on E,S & S and while I like all three, this is my favorite. I like the trail leading you into the frame and the sunburst peaking around the tree. You're producing some very nice work lately Angela. I'm looking forward to seeing your 2009 images too!

That sure looks cold !!! I like the star effect of the sun and the path leading into the shot. Nice.

Beautiful shot! I love the starburst effect of the sun right at the edge of the tree.

Nicely done Angela. I spend a fair amount of time around Big Shunga Park myself walking the creek and through the woods and always find it very comforting. The snow thus far has been nice, and I for one am ready for more!
