This is a pic of some small waterfalls at the outlet area of Lake Idlewild, a small lake near Waterville, KS. I love to photograph waterfalls so I will be back to this place again. It was very peaceful. I wasn't really prepared to do any serious shooting (I was visiting my parents in Waterville) and ended up busting my rear end and sliding down about a 6' muddy bank, but it was worth it.
I've posted some different views of these falls (there were 2 waterfalls that I found both maybe 6-10', probably more down stream) here if you are interested:
PS: Hope it is ok to post a link to other photos! If not, my apologies!

It's really nice to see your images of Kansas Scott. It's been a few years since I've been up to Waterville and was unaware of the waterfalls. I'm thinking they must be along the Little Blue.
Very enjoyable. I look forward to more in the new year.

It appears that there are more waterfalls in Kansas than I thought. With some heavy runoff, this could be a pretty impressive waterfall. I really like the sky in this rendition. Thanks for sharing!
Great sky and clouds, and the waterfall is very pretty. I wasn't aware there was a waterfall in this area. I have relatives who live in Marshall Co. I think I may have to go visit them soon
