Sad Story Buzzard
On my way to some local marshes this afternoon in hope of spotting a short eared owl I spotted this guy sitting in a field, so pulled over and took a few shots. I know not the best comp etc. Just a opportunist buzzard shot. I did'nt think he looked to well especially when the resdient horse ran over and he hardly flinched.

Any way about 2 hours later on the way home he was still there and looking like he was on his way out. The land owner had contacted the RSPCA and had been given instructions to cover him with some sort of protection. There used a hen coup and managed to walk right up to him and placed it over him.

He had no apparent injuries that I could see.

Fingers the RSPCA get their thumb out and help him out.

Thanks Vincent, your number is now in my mobile.

I intend to call in on the land owner this weekend to see what the outcome was.
