Started the new year right ... camera mounted on my tripod out in the cold and wind before sunrise making images! What a way to start 2009!
I liked the graphic lines in this frozen intimate shot from Streamway Parks. Hope you have a great day!

Nice take Wayne. B&W really brings out the shapes and the composition is perfect.
Hope you didn't crack the ice.

This is very cool Wayne. It looks like is belongs on another planet. Good thing you have a super zoom because the ice doesn't look that thick!

Wayne, a great way to start the new year. I agree with the other comments, the black and white conversion really makes the shot.

Happy New Year, Wayne. The b/w works very well with the mood. Well worth the chilly start to 2009 for you :).

I like the texture of the ice and the rings. The B&W is perfect for this scene. Cool find and great shot!

Very nice Wayne I really like shots like this, and the best way I can think of to start the New Year!

I like it Wayne. The B&W is the right way to do this and the parallel reflection of the tree that's out of the shot helps too.

Very nice, I like the position of both 'rings' in this shot.

Beautiful work, Wayne. A very nice composition, with repeating lines and repeating circles.

Good job Wayne. I might add the balance of elements here is just right, and I like the side lighting on the tree.
