I took this in Hope Valley over Thanksgiving. The more I looked at it, the more it seemed to lack punch so I selectively added contrast and saturation.
What do you think?

Very nice, Dan. It has a feeling of serenity. Images can indeed be pretty without
having vibrant colors.
Two things strike me about this iamge. The first is the color of the trees on the hill. It seems a bit to much on the cyan. Those might be the real color on the tranny, but Iwould have expected them to look more likr hte FG trees, color wise. The second was the empty FG, it just does not add anything to the overall uniqueness of this photo. I think the yellow of the grass is important for overall color balance, and would consider a crop eliminating all the white. I do love the feel and mood and how all the elements work with each other, which is your signiture image.
Dan, looks good to me. I think the difference in the tree tones and colors is coming from the angle of light here possibly? I would do a slight crop the bottom up to about to at least the middle of the white area. Otherwise, good to go IMO.

Dan,
I can't find your original post to compare, but I do like the contrast and color in the center portion of the image. If I remember right, I think I suggested cropping some of the foreground snow, and I think that still holds. I also agree with Youssef in the color of the background trees - they just seem a bit off and kind of a weird blue/green color.
But in the end as before, the stark presence of the bare snag in the middle and the reds/magentas of the willows really make this scene stand out and I still like it.
