Pines in Fog
Last weekend we had more than enough fog, which lasted all day, so I took advantage of it and went out with the camera. This is one of the images I came away with after shooting numerous frames. The fog was constantly moving, so each and every image is different.

Nice ethereal image, Toni. Because of the soft palette, the dark area on the right pulls my eye out of the image. Might be worth a try to crop it a bit from the right.

Very moody image, Toni. I think Chuck may be on to something with this crop suggestion. The right edge of the frame is a bit on the dark side and I think the shot is more evocative if the tone more or less evenly fades on a kind of dark-light continuum from left to right.

I like the mood you've created here, but agree about the crop. The downward handing foggy branch at lower center is also a bit of a distraction. I'm not one for cloning much myself, but this might help clean up the nice misty tree trunks moving up very nicely from the bottom of the frame.

Thanks for the suggestions...I'll try cropping the right side and see what that looks like.

I'm jealous of all the fog people seem to be getting! The atmosphere makes the shot here. I also can see where a crop would be effective.
