Blue Tit.
Canon 5D, Canon 500mm f4 & Canon 1.4X Extender,
1/125 sec @ f10, iso 1600.

Small crop off the sides and top for web presentation.
Levels, hue/saturation, Neatimage.

Hi,

One from a couple of days ago.
A beautiful, frosty day but light levels were very low so had to bump the iso up to 1600.

Hi Justin

It's been along time since I had chance to comment on one of your fab' pics!!

My 5d is great at high ISO's too

The results of the west warwickshire jury are as follows:

Composition 12 points
Lighting 11 points
(dull, overcast light is highly underestimated., but does wonders for colour and detail!!)
Background 12 points
Viewpoint 12 points
Colours 12 points
Pose of subject - 12 points
Condition of subject - immaculate err I mean 12 points

It's an absolute cracker mate!!

Might also have been tempted to take another shot with a very weak burst of frontal fill flash set at -2 or -3ev using 1 flashgun just to see what difference it made to the light on the perch/underside of birds No crit's!! That's just what I would have done.

Hi Larry,

Good to see you're still around. :wavey:

That's a very generous score from the West Warwickshire jury, unless those marks are out of 100
