Chrysanthemums
Several years ago I saw this bouquet in the floral section of a
local grocery store. I tied a string around the stems and tightened it to close the open spaces between the flowers and then got in close. One of the store employees told me that the Chrysanthemums had been sprayed in some way to add the blue and red to the white flowers.

Canon Elan 35mm, Canon 100mm macro, Velvia film

As always your comments are welcome.

This looks nice, Robert. I like the warm-cool composition. The photo is nicely detailed and the color is rich without being overpowering. Good job!

Well now, I will need to keep thinking about that macro lens again after seeing these wonderful closeups you have been posting, Robert. Very pretty.

Here are some post processed alterations to the above image. I'd like your opinion
as to whether or not they work for you, and which one of the three you like. Thank you.

And now here is the third one, looking kind of mushy.

Robert,

You don't know how many times I've almost brought home a bouquet of flowers to photograph... but then it would set to well with my wife that I brought them home to photograph... :-)

You certainly found a captured a wonderful cluster of color and flowers. I think I almost prefer the second posting which makes the blue tinted flower more prominent, but the original is beautifully captured. The third one honestly looks like you slipped on the watercolor filter... :-)

The first two are beautiful.

Thanks, Lon. I agree; the third one has to go.
