I think its a robin, there was a flock of about 8 or 10 on the edge of the marsh in green island iowa....not that great of a shot but i had to take it to prove its a robin...
Does anybody know of a cold weather bird that looks like a robin or is this a robin??
I see robins in the snow fairly frequently around here.

I didn't get a picture but I counted 50 of them in my and the neighbor's yard on New Year's Day. (Decatur, IL.) To be honest, I quit counting at 50 because there were just too many of them. I've also never seen a "flock:" of robins before - at least not this many in one spot at one time.

Yep, this is a Robin. Becoming more and more frequently seen in larger numbers in our area as the winters become milder!
