Ritchie or Rene,

As we prep for the shindig print exchange, would you elaborate again on any guidelines for bringing a print to participate?

As I remember, there isn't a size requirement or limit. 11x14/16x20 seemed to be popular but there were some quite larger and some smaller.
Foamboard/gatorboard mounting seemed to be the minimum but many were matted and some were framed.

Also, I can't remember if we put our names on them somewhere (other than signing the print) or if that was discovered during the course of the exchange.

Last, bringing the prints wrapped/covered seemed to enhance the randomness of the picks from the unpicked pile.

It was loads of fun last year, can't wait for this one!

The guidelines you give are fine. Basically make sure the print is a minimum of 8x10. Should be fun.

Here are the rules from last year's event:

- Bring a print of any size, loose or mounted and matted. Only folks that bring a print will participate in the exchange. (Last year we suggest the print should be 8x10 or larger.) The print must be covered, wrapped, or rolled so the image is not visible.

- The covered prints will be placed on a table.

- Each person draws a number to determine the order of play.

- For the first round, the person with the lowest number picks a covered print and reveals it to the group.

- For each subsequent round, each person picks a covered print from the table and reveals it to the group, or steals a previously revealed print from another person.

- The person from whom the item is stolen replaces his/her print by picking a covered print from the table, or stealing another person’s print.

- There is no limit to the number of times a print can be stolen; however, each print may only be stolen once per round.

- If the person from the first round still has the original item after the last round of the game, he/she may choose to steal any other print, resulting in one more round of the game.
