WATCH HERE- http://www.vimeo.com/2710673

This was shot in Russellville the other day. The full resolution does look way better. I hope you all like it!

Pretty neat, Aaron. I'll have my 5DII on Monday - can't wait!

Hey Aaron, your early minutes look kind of like the first Canon ads for this camera - very hip and well done! But for the nature stuff you really need a good fluid head - that would make a world of difference. And a really long lens, especially for wildlife. It always amazes me when filmmakers can shoot a wide scene and then zoom up to a fly on a bear's butt a half mile away - those cine lenses are some really great glass.

Oh my gosh Tim, you are getting one too? You will need a bigger printer!

Thanks for sharing the video clip. Clearly, the 5D II has some great possibilities.

Very nice, Aaron. Your choice of music is perfect. I shot a couple of short clips at Christmas and was very impressed with the HD quality.

Thanks everyone! I will have to lug around my big video tripod next time even though it's nearly 20lbs. I'm looking into older MF lenses that might work well with an adapter and split prism. I need to find an affordable, long lens for the MK2. Next time I'll bring my XH-A1 that has a 32-650mm 35mm equivalent lens to shoot the birds right or a "bear's butt".

Congrats on the new cam Tim Buchanan- you've waited a while for a SWEET upgrade.

Aaron - I didn't comment on the video itself. I really enjoyed the first part as well - it's a type of photography I really enjoy.

It may be a sweet upgrade, but it's certainly not without its hidden costs - new wide lenses, new medium lenses, new computer to handle the load. New printer? No. Well, not this year, anyway!
