Sully Island Sunset
Taken last night, looking out along the Bristol Channel from the causeway out to Sully Island, a rare combination of low water and sunset.

specs: D200
sigma10-20mm @13mm (to avoid filter holder in shot)
iso 100
F11
1.6 secs
-1.0ev
center weighted
minor tweaking of curves in NX

Lovely complementary colours,

I think the image would benefit with more of a panoramic crop removing about 2/3rds of the sky - try the sheet of paper test masking off as above (but that might just be my style of landscape imagery)

A beautiful twilight glow you've captured here. Makes it all worth while to be out and about on an evening like this.

Gorgeous scene John with options for cropping too although I do like the violet sky

Beautiful sunset you have captured there. Did you know there were Waxwings in Sully? Apparantly there were a couple in Western Avenue today.
