Taken today during this Eagle Owls daily exercise session. The Owls name by the way is Kaln, a special Owl who some of you have met.
Light today at 2pm was dull & very poor, this in away helped to create, in my eyes, an atmospheric flight shot of such a powerful predator, even though the Owls captive bred.
This is more or less full frame with a slight crop to the right to frame.
Thanks for looking

Hi Vincent,
Looks good.
Personally I would take a higher ISO so your shutter speed can be higher to et a little less movement in the wings.
But that's my personal taste.

Vincent,
Great shot, love the owl's glare.
If anything I'd say a little more movement in the wings may add to the image.
Rob
ps. What ever happened to that rogue Eagle Owl that was hanging around your place?

Hi Vincent
like this a lot, especially the blurring in the wings,
Sharp where it counts, and as you say a very atmospheric flight shot, the wing movement definitely adds to the image.

Love it! I think the movement is great but a touch more would have made this magical!
