Well it certainly isn't Orville!
Another one from the trip to Galapágos, sorry.

As previously stated on other postings, these magnificent birds soar, bank, dive with great dexterity considering their wingspan and overall size. The hope was to try and get them banking into camera with the bright blue sky behind me, however they instinctively new this and stayed in the grey overcase part, however that was more of a help IMHO, as it helped display the detail to better effect.

Sadly they are being unintentionally drowned in large numbers by "longline" fishing boats. Longlining is the single greatest threat to the world's seabirds!

BTW, Andy I will post one for you this week of your favourite bird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is one amazing bird. I would prefer a horizontal shot but I can live with this one. Wonderful image. I hope to visit that magic place myself someday.

An excellent shot, just needs some space to fly into.

Beautiful shot, but I also think it needs some space to fly into.

Great shot. Did you take it portrait? I would agree with more to fly in to.

Magnificent bird, nits already covered and shouldn't be too hard to add some canvas if desired
