One from a recent rip to Norway back in November. We were en route further north to photograph golden eagles but spent an hour or so at a good spot for eider. Tried a whole load of slow shutter speed stuff most of which were garbage but I liked this one.

Very difficult to get these kind of shots right - like you say, most of them end up garbage, but this one is spot on. Great shot
I'm not always a huge fan of these abstract type shots but I do think this one works very nicely. Well composed and you can clearly tell what the subjects are despite the impressionist feel.
Very good, nice to see something different, but agree re Phil's comment

I've never really been a fan of "creative blur" but this shot does manage to convey that fleeting speedy fly past view that one often gets, again a bit more room for them to fly into would be good.
Very nice indeed.

Beautiful shot, with the feel of an impressionist painting. for me it never seems to work, but you have done superbly here.

Hi Mark,
I struggle to successful do these abstract images. This works very well! I can see this one hanging on a wall!

Very nice Mark, works well given the simple and unmistakable subject, but the lines and reflections in the water are great. Agree a bit more space on the right would be nice, but not an easy feat to manage
