One from yesterday morning, taken completely by chance. I was chatting to a friend at a local headland when this kestrel landed about 20' away from us, he'd obviously spotted something in the long grass (hence the intense stare) as he seemed totally unaware of our presence. The light was extremely dull so I had to quickly setup the tripod and grab a few shots. As the bird was pretty stationary I chanced a few shots at a lower iso, this one turned out my favourite.
