At last after a long time trying to find a fox today I met a friend who knew of a likely spot to find them so we went and waited, of course they didn't show so I gave up and went home. And on the way home I found a fox, now isn't life just like that!

He/she is scent marking right in front of me.

When you least expect it...........but at least you were ready for it. Nice pics, I liked the ones crossing the road because they show the challenges foxes face every day. Foxes aren't the wariest when it comes to crossing roads. I see so many killed on road shoulders, it's sad and frustrating, they are such smart animals in a lot of ways, but don't understand vehicles.

Don, I was trying to film and let the traffic know that he was trying to cross, my car had its hazard flashers going and I was standing there with one arm in the air and holding the camera with the other. Luckily he had some street savvy and made it over, then scent marked on the patio of the house there! I wonder if they noticed!
