There has been no shortage of Yosemite snow images. It looks like it will end up like fall aspen shots. I am looking forward to seeing what others captured. Dan must be anxiously awaiting his film and I can't wait to see what he got. I have a few more to scan up and post.
I did not convert this to B&W. It was a very blue image, with blue sky overhead and in the shadows. I desaturated the blues and cyans quite a bit, but left a hint.
More than happy to hear any comments or critiques you might have.

SAH-WHEEET! Man, you guys got it all - fog, mist, SNOW and looks like a little bit of sunshine. The bit of light on the tree and snow really sets this off for me Harley. And like one of Jimmy's images, I'm so glad you left this in color. Barely a hint of blue, but the browns of the cliff, ULC, and the deep greens of the evergreens make the color version outstanding.

Nice image, Harley! Great exposure of the white on the tree. In some ways that tree
almost looks infrared to me. I like it.

Wow! The hint of blues are very subtle, it almost gives it a silvery look. Awesome shot Harley.

I don't care how many Yosemite Winter shots are posted. I never tire of seeing them.
Great job Harley! Where was this taken? I really like the granite wall covered in snow in the background. Was it near Yosemite Falls?
