Just a Pretty Picture? repost
 We really need an emoticon for a forehead slap. Looked at this more objectively regarding the color and found that the blue channel was really lacking, thus the yellow cast. Hope this is better even though it still doesn't spike the  -meter.

MUCH better, Bill! I really like the detail in the rocks, trees, and especially that moon!

Dare I say night and day better? The color correction even improved the depth in this for me. Looks great now, nice job on the rework.

This has a much more natural look to it Bill. Nice color in the sky, the rock face looks great and green of the pines very natural. Well done.

Bill, I really like the repost, the moon adds a real nice touch.

Bill, this one is definitely an improvement on the original. Nice moon position!

Beautiful, Bill. I really like this. Very unusual capture I might add. :toast: Those rocks look real now.

There's so much more color variation in the rocks now, my eye lingers on them instead of moving off. This image now has a WOW factor which I'm sure you felt when you stopped to capture it. I'm glad you stuck with this one Bill; I bet many of us here have learned from this. How about an emoticon for a high-five!

Nice shot Bill. When I was a kid (early 50's) we used to go camping in Kings Canyon at the Cedar Grove Campground. We fished the Kings River and spent a lot of time chasing the squirrels through the campground.

Brings back memories....
