Back to an eagle
Caught several on the ice the other day it was out of the wind and the sun was out so I think it was a nice spot. They were about 50 yards or so out and I got several shots. Cropped this one to take out a juvie in FG.

Nice catch, Kendall! Good exposure without blowing out the whites...difficult to achieve when you have the dark feathers, too.

Nice capture, Kendall. I might consider cropping a bit from the top and right to focus more on the eagle.

Kendall, I really like the bird/pose, but the BG is fairly harsh, moving from very bright in the FG to very dark in the BG. It almost looks as if the bird is considering a trip south due to an iced over food supply. Still, the eagle is beautiful and captured nicely here.

nice catch kendall,,, look at those deadly talons,,, his head is dirty, probably was fighting off young eagles to keep his own food... i have seen some of them fight hard in a field and get covered with mud
