The Lone Log
Went back to Whatcom Falls Park in Bellingham,WA. Was really surprised to see all the snow was gone. Tried to make the best of what I had a a cloudy rainy day
Thanks for looking any CC appreciated

I like this for the reality aspect: there's a darn log across every waterfall in WA and OR it seems! While I find it distracting, as might many others, it is of dramatic size and shape. I also like the eye level view of water coming right at the viewer and the motion of it in the fg.

I like where you were heading here Ray, and the water looks great, but I'd prefer no log or more log.

The POV is dynamic and really gets the observer involved, but the comp in general feels skewed to the L. The log happened to be present, so no control over that, but I'm not sure it really adds anything to the image.

I think making the log the focus of the shot would create an interesting comp.
