OK – first my apologies for not getting this up earlier. I have been extremely busy, and have not had the chance to update the cover page.
Second, we received a LOT of fantastic images for last month’s topic – close to 100 images, and it was very difficult to pick one for the cover. To make a decision we limited the selection to those members who have not been previously featured.
Congratulations to former RMNP moderator Adam Schallau for a well deserved cover shot of the boardwalk at the Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne, Texas.
Awesome lead-in and dripping with color! Congrats!

Really nice image, Adam! The Cibolo Nature Center is a great retreat from the stresses of the city.
There hasn't been any water in this spot for at least a year now - we're in a really bad drought.

I was there in March '08 when I shot this and it was looking pretty dry then. The Cibolo Nature Center is a great place. I used to volunteer there when I lived in Boerne back in the 90's.

The model was the 'difficult' type and initially would not sign a release, but she came around after I locked her out of the car. Of course she got even with me later that night by locking me out of the house.
