I am new to this website and just trying to familiarize myself with it. My website is: www.wolfsvisionphotography.com
Look around. Any feedback is appreciated.
Nice looking and functional website, Brian. Lots of interesting and vibrant photos to be seen.
Welcome to NPN.

Brian,
Welcome once again! Your website is simple, clean and pretty easy to navigate. I usually don't like Flash presentations for galleries, but yours is simple, easy to use and not full of all those fancy(annoying) gimmicks.
I only have a couple of suggestions that you can take or leave.
1. Right from the home page, I would personally lose the counter. If you're interested in visitors/pages viewed etc., you should be able to get stats from your ISP. I used to have a counter on my first website - in 1995.
2. I would recommend making all your fonts the same - I see 4 diff fonts on the home page, on the nav menu, your main text, the copyright info and the "website designed by..."
And then a larger font on the "recent images" page. Not a huge deal, but being consistent throughout the site makes it look cleaner
3. The gallery buttons on the Galleries page are kinda outdated just like the counter on the home page. Nothing wrong really, but you might consider just simply text links with the mouse-over feature or find a simply java script (or other kind of script) to generate a pull-down menu or something since you have so many gallery topics. Again, no big deal, just a suggestion.
4. Lastly and maybe most important, I would recommend you have a "bio" or "about" page where visitors can learn something about you, what equipment you might use or maybe just a short artist's statement.
I hope that wasn't too much, just some observations. If you've done all the coding yourself, my hat's off to you! I know all to well how tedious creating, coding and maintaining a website is.

Lon,
Thanks for the excellent feedback. I am in the process of looking at doing some redesign in the near future and these suggestions are very well received. It is good to have someone else look at the site (I thought I had used the same type, for example, but obviously not). Yes, I did do this myself. Thanks again for your feedback.
