After several months of planning Georgia has formed the Georgia Nature Photographers Association. The kickoff meeting will be January 27th at 7:00 PM to be held at the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, GA. See (www.gnpa.org for directions and further details) Charles Glatzer will be the keynote speaker for this event.(See www.shootthelight.com)

Please pass information about this event to others you know that might be interested in joining us for this kickoff meeting. They can join other like-minded nature photographers for planned field trips, competitions, reviews and exhibitions as well as meeting and mixing with other nature photographers.

Hope to see you there.

While I am too far to be there (Atlanta), I did just join. I then asked my photographer son and daughter to join, too! Hope this will become a huge organization that will eventually reach way down here in Brunswick!!

Troup,

Plans are to form chapters in areas throughout the state and hopefully Brunswick will be on the list.

Being in Brunswick you may be familiar with my book "Cumberland Island - A Treasure of Memories" Published in 1985 but it still sells well along the coast. I try to shoot around that area a lot with Harris Neck NWR being one of my stops along the way.

Visited your website and you have some impressive images and I love the layout.

Thanks for joining, hopefully we will make it your way.
