Here is one of some hoar frost on county rd 16 in Pope county after I left Graves canyon headed towards Haw creek and Richland. I got a little side tracked and went to Pedestal rocks instead. I really like the way the road stands out. I hope everyone didn't forget that I expect criticism of my images. I can take it.

Matthew, Very nice shot. You might try a B&W conversion and see if you like it.

The fog and frozen flora plays nicely against the earth tones of the dirt road. I'll bet there were lots of frozen treats to be found in this wonderland.

Matthew: Wonderful mood with the fog. Nicely seen and captured. >=))>

Very nice. I don't really see anything to criticize in this shot... Might be interesting to see a view where the road doesn't disappear right into the middle of the frame. But this is a great shot.

The more I look at this the more I like it, and wish I was there! I see why you stopped to take this shot.. that's a wonderful scene with "perfect" fog for us photographers... just the right thickness. There is a sepia color to the fog and trees that I find unnatural.. nothing wrong with it if it's that way on purpose. Thanks for sharing.

I got rid of the sepia color you were talking about John. For some reason I didn't really notice it until you pointed it out. It doesn't look all that different so I am not going to post new one.
