Phirst Phlake
For the past couple of winters, I've been wanting to photograph snow flakes. (During my college days, I spent more time with a microscope than I'd care to share.) Over the past six months, I bought a used microscope and an attachment so that my camera will work on the microscope. I finally got myself prepared for today's snow and made it happen.

Now, the photograph is nothing to write home about, but it's a first attempt! ;) Unfortunately, our snow wasn't too purty today - mostly just cold and icy, which shows in the crystal pattern. So, I'm looking forward to a snow fall now with those big, fat, "typical" flakes...

Enjoy,

Tim!
