Does 5D Mark II change regulations?

So, I was sitting around last night thinking about the new 5D Mark II, and the ability to do HiDef recording, I was beginning to wonder, will this be the camera that changes regulations in certain places? example:

We have always been allowed to bring a camera w/lens into sporting events, a lens up to 200mm I believe in most places. Well now with the introduction of high def recording by the 5d Mark II, you can record these events instead of taking still shots, do they change the rules because of this camera? Are there gonna be videos out there from the stands that may capture things the regular camera people dont?

Just a few thoughts to ponder, and thought I would bring up a topic and see everyones opinions on this, and what you think may change with this amazing new camera.

It is not sold as a video camera therefor it is on!!

I get upset when I am asked if I am professional photographer. I'm not.

I take some decent images for my personal enjoyment and I try to abide by the rules.

The papparazzi types are ruining it for everyone else.

I have great respect for those who make their living in this craft. Many of whom follow the rules written and unwritten. Those who break the rules make it bad for the rest of us.

What's even more scary is that my little LX3 shoots 720P HD video. I think there are some pocket cams shooting 1020p now, and if not they'll be here soon.

Its hard to say if it will affect the ability to take a still camera to a sporting event. Alot of venues have already banned still cameras because spectators allow their flash to fire or because the shutter is noisy or because they just don't want cameras at the event.
