Not to sure where this fits, but thought it may be of interest, as I got asked to take the photographs at the British Falconry Club meeting in Wiltshire this year, it happens every four years, and Falconers come from all over the world to fly their birds at either Pheasants or Red Legs. Having now seen the three days flights and only three birds were killed I think our wild birds are safe..... :way:

I'd say it was neither.

For me it’s neither “Landscape or Wildlife” but portraiture, and a truly excellent one at that, everything within it works for me.

The only comment I would make is that I would have considered moving the main subject area higher in the frame, if only to give more publication options.

An excellent image Stewart and for me, it doesn't matter what label you put on it. Presumably, you secured a whole range of story-telling images? I'd be keen to see more.

Hi Stewart,

Stunning. As with the others comments it's a portrait for me not wildlife or landscape.

If you cover the next one you might well see me there flying a Harris Hawk

Regards

Rob

PS Have you got a link to the rest of the gallery??

Hi Stewart,

A bit of everything I think, and in addition a lovely shot, Have you shown it to the human in the picture? If it were me I'd want a copy on my wall.

Great subject change from the norm.

great image Stewart, the light, the poses, and all that frost!! don't really think it matters much how you categorise the picture, they're only labels we use to restrict ourselves

I would say neither to the original question.

What it does show is years of dedication & experience to the sport of falconry & in all weathers.

Awesome image Stewart in everyway
