Canon 20D, Canon 500mm f4 & Canon 1.4X Extender, 1/400 sec @ f5.6,

Full frame, levels, hue/saturation, Neatimge.
Hi,
One from a few days ago. This blackbird was busy turning all the leaves over in search of a meal.
The detail in the Blackie is outstanding, but I think it could be cropped to advantage, with the first being to take the “mush” out from centre to bottom left. I would also consider flipping it so that it faced right.
I wouldn’t overly worry about the virtual feet, as this is effectively a close-up, and an excellent one at that.
This is why I invariably post full frame, it’s amazing what you can learn from the feedback, without the authors realizing it. Either with a completely new slant on the image or reaffirming what you already thought.
