Here's one from this morning. I was only able to fire a few shots before the moon sunk into some fog. It was cold!

Dang fog...always seems to develop when I don't need it too. Looks like there was plenty of action in the sky and on the ground this morning - nice work Aaron.

Nice, Aaron the flying birds add a nice dimesion to your shot.

Very nice, Aaron! Great balance between the moon and the foreground geese. Hate that I wasn't there to shoot this with you!

Hi Aaron,

Nice shot! I am curious about the birds in flight. Their shapes don't look like those of geese and the scattered arrangement suggests something else. Geese always fly in flocks with a "V" or single "line" shape. These seem to be an independent bunch of birds.

Best,
Don

Now that's a moon Aaron. While I like the scene and setting with the geese in the fg, the indestinguishable "dots" in the sky don't enhance this image. I'd probably clone out all but the 5 larger birds for a cleaner presentation. Just my $0.02 worth.

Thanks for sharing this rather large moon. :wavey:

Don- Those birds were Red-winged Blackbird's and there were just as many out there as the geese... So thick you can't see through the frame. I'll post one soon.

Wayne- Good advice, I couldn't decide if they would add character or not.

Dave- You would have had some good shots with that lens of yours!!!
