Little Egret
Hi Guys,

Spent the day at the coastal area down south of The Netherlands yesterday and as there was still plenty of ice on the streams this gave some excellent possibillities to shoot all sorts of birds with this Little Egret being one of those.

Greetings,

Jeroen Stel

Superb shot. Great details, excellent DOF and the background is great too.

Stunning Jeroen, Superb detail in the whites and expertly achieved. I am a little distracted by whatever the red/pink OOF area is behind the bird but not much.. Otherwise a nice clean BG.

Really nice image..

One of my favourites from the selection that you sent me, nice to see it on here. The best elements for me are the crisp sharpness of the bird and the rich colour of the background.

You did exceptionally well here for a hand held 600, an excellent action shot taken at just the right moment. Might consider taking out the red smudge in the B.G..

Nice one agree with the comments so far... seems the feet are not as 'yellow' as I am used to seeing....

Very nice Jeroen, might be good with more canvas on the left hand side

Excellent capture, Jeroen. The detail is great and the colourful background really makes it. I agree with Magnus though, about a little more canvas on the left hand side.
