Hey guys,

First off this has been digitally manipulated and I was hoping to get your feedback.

On Sunday I planned to do a moonset/sunrise shot with seastacks. Unfortunately the rock cliff behind this spot left too little space to compress the moon properly - dwarfing it essentially. So in reviewing the shots I used the moon from another image which was more of a close up taken moments before this one.

I will post the larger versions of the original and the enhanced version for your review. Enhanced:

Original:

Also here is one with a little different composition which I may like more. Enhanced:

Original:

Although the enhanced versions were more of what I had previsualized I am just not sure about them. It feels like cheating. Ideally I could shoot this type of compostion on a nice wide beach with seastacks like Bandon OR and then it wouldn't be a problem.

Pretty nice capture and imagination to get everything fit into place. The original has the moon with a little more mood or yellow to it. 2 waves and 3 little birds. Better to have a little more separation in the 2 rocks. Of course, still very interesting.

Derek, I'm going to go with this scene here. I also like the one you mention that you might like a bit more, but the blurred wave in that one throws me off a bit.

Derek,
Very creative composition. Love the birds and the moon. Best Regards.
