Avocets in evening light
I shot this one on Texel a while ago. This place will always remind me to those wonderful Avocets and Danny sleeping in my car because I forgot to bring another tent

iso 640 1/6 sec. F5.6 hand held.

Yes I like this artistic interpretion,

.......but they look much more like the Texel black headed gulls that rampage above the tern colony from the dark face patches

Great great place but I heard a rumour that a second bar was being put in place that may affect photography there - is that so?

I keep meaning to go back there one day with a digital camera, the 36 shot floppy recording media I had was too restrictictive.......

Certainly different... I am not sure whether I would prefer to have something withinn the frame as being more recognisable tho....

I thought Danny always spent the night in Cars

Hi Edwin certainly a different kind of shot. The bird near the centre looks like a B.H. Gull which is a bit distracting imo. :toast:

Cracking shot Ed is this the same picture that won the major comp in Belguim because I can see why I love the curves and the colour is beautiful, another top draw image that puzzles me with the low comments but then again I think I am becoming just a moaning bugger

Danny

Not really my sort of thing, but I know it will appeal to many, which is what it is all about Good job we don't all like the same things. Well seen and taken.
