That slate grey sky sets the bird off very nicely. Nice one. Eric
A lovely image. Well exposed, nice and sharp and the graduated grey background sets it off nicely.

My pet hate with barn owls is when they do get close enough for a frame filling shot they always decide to fly higher so you can't get its environment Having said that the slate grey sky on this shot does lend it atmosphere.
Nice one.

And enough space to fly away.
Very good on the D2Xs at 800 and as Eric said, the sky colour really sets it off nicely
