Partridges in the snow
An other one from the last snow period.
The picture is not that sharp as I would like, but you can;t have it al. I like the picture.
This was a flock (correct word??) of 8 partridges staying down in the snow. At first I did not recognize them as partridges because there was a great distance between them and me and they are all down. Then one was moving his head up. There are only 5 on the picture the other three were a little more to the right.

Exposure time 1/1000 s
F-number f/4
Exposure program Aperture priority
ISO speed ratings ISO 100
Focal length 500 mm + extender 2X
Beanbag from the car window

C&C welcome. Thanks.

Hello Tom
It's a "covey" of partridge.
The bird looking back makes the shot, which I like.
Best wishes
Phil
