Kite enviro + '7 in a row'.
Whilst travelling home from a meeting I was surprised that I hadn't seen any Kites, very unusual for the Aberystwyth coast road. Then as I passed a field my eye caught a few birds sat on a fence at the top of a field. I stopped the car as soon as I was able, went back and lo and behold no less than ten Red Kites lined up on posts along the fence line. They were a good way off and I only had a zoom with me but I managed to grab a couple of images. I shall post an image with 7 kites in it (the most I could get on a single frame) but I quite liked this one.

What a wonderful shot!!!!!!!

The clouds, the snow capped hills, the fence line all pull this shot together and there's the kite, superb!!!!!!

Cheers

As mentioned in the first post there were ten kites either perched or flying around this and another fenceline along with a couple of buzzards and a few crows. I couldn't see why they were there. There was no obvious food source and indeed none of them appeared to be actually doing anything. Eventually they just drifted off over the coast.
This image has seven birds lined up, the most I could get into a single frame and still manage to have something that actually looked composed.

Original shot is fantastic Robert, I like the composition and the elements in the shot, great editorial potential. The line up is interesting, I've only ever seen one at a time, looks like the one in the middle has been ostracised!
