Greetings from Sweden
For the first time since almost 10 years i am not in Finland but try my luck in Sweden this winter. Different birds and different settings, yesterday some great encounters with Hawk owl and wax wings.

Weather has nt been too faourable and the outlook isnt fantastic.

Today the first full day in the field, i spent quite sometime with nutcrackers and this is the (first) result, its a project in process so to speak and i think the perch needs some work.

image processed from my laptop with a flacky internet connection.

All the best

Hi Rene,

I don't recall seeing one of these birds posted on the forum before

A really nice shot. I like the open beak and how the tail is almost parallel to the perch.

Asou say the perch is a tad on the bland side, otherwise an excellent shot.

I like the way that the bird's stance mimics the angle of the perch. I've never seen a better shot of one of these.

Hi Rene,

We have had an influx of these Nutcrackers a few months ago over here in Holland. They are beautifull and so is this shot. I do see some noise in the BG but that's easily fixed.
