My name is Benjamin Olson, I am 22 and live in the south metro of MN. I am and avid outdoorsmen and I spend the majority of my free time hiking and backpacking with my cameras! This is my first post in this forum and I just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully get know know some of you!
This is a image I made this past september at Caribou falls, it had rained a good two inches the night before and the water level was extremely high, I've never seen this waterfall even close to this size!

Welcome to the group. Nice first post. I really like the perspective on this one. Did you cross the river to get this shot or was it taken from the bottom of the steps?

I crossed the river to get this shot. I was a little nervous doing so because I couldn't see the bottom of the river and was just hoping I wasn't going to step into a deep spot, the water ended up being about mid-way between my knee and waist so it wasn't so bad! Thank you all for your wonderful comments!
Very nice image of this falls. The blurred clouds add an interesting touch. I have yet to take a shot of Caribou Falls, despite being there on a couple of occasions. I'm glad you jumped in Ben!

Welcome, Ben. Great first post! I like the composition with three distinct portions of the river leading you up through the frame. It looks like a spectacular location and you've done a great job of putting us there with you.
