As many of you may have, I just got sent an email regarding the opening of the 2009 competition. I was therefore wandering if any one has a few tips on what to enter. I am finding it hard to tell what the judges are looking for when going through the winning images.
This is my last year being "junior", so I wanted to make a good stab it before having to enter with the big boys.
Any advice is appreciated

Hello Liam
I think you would have a great chance if you took their advice and come up with something with an urban theme, we are surounded by nature but it is often overlooked for the more exotic species. Try shooting a fox crossing an urban road but use slow shutter speads, maybe find an urban pond with frogs in but try and incorporate the reflection of the surrounding buildings or even look out for urban starling roosts but use the buildings. I think if you would to go down this route your chances would increase. Good Luck

Hi Danny,
I didn't realise the new sponsor was Veolia, a lot better than shell. Thanks a lot for the advice, really is appreciated.
