I normally find bushbucks to be quite shy, especially the males. This one walked into camp one siesta time, and stayed the best part of an hour. I would have missed him had I not gone for a shower and spotted him over the bathroom wall. He stayed in deep shade most of the time, with the brightly-lit Luangwa river behind him.
Nikon D200 with 50-500mm Sigma at 500mm. Cropped from landscape to portrait format. Lots of processing in Photoshop to lift shadows and darken highlights.
Taken in South Luangwa National Park, Zambia, August 2008
Thanks for looking.

He stands out very well against the background, Nice details & the comp works.
Must have been a great experience.
I also think some more space on the right side would be nice, but still a lovely portrait

I am posting the original as well, as there seems to be a majority opinion in favour of more space or a landscape format. Personally speaking, I still prefer my original posting.
What do others think?

For this particular image David, I think I go with the portrait, but I see that you can add a bit more canvass space to the RHS of the portrait as well..
