OT - Denver Art Museum
I stopped by the DAM on Sunday after visiting my Grandpa at his 90th birthday party!

This shot is Fox Games by Sandy Skoglund. I came back to the museum specifically to see this piece again.

ISO 400 on the LX3.

This is the Hamilton Building reflecting the colors from the Denver library. ISO 80 on the LX3.

This is all very cool stuff, Mel. I like the lighting and comps in your architecture shots. That first image is something else. I'm surprised they let visitors take pictures of the art work.

I've only been in one art gallery in my life that did not allow cameras... The Fine Art Center in Colorado Springs. I understand that the Vatican museums have similar policies.

The Louvre, the Orsay, the Met, MOMA, the Smithsonian, and many smaller galleries as well all permit photography in the gallery in general. There are certain areas where photography is not permitted, but photography is not generally banned in the museums.

The Fox Games exhibit is SO RED that after a few minutes in the space, your eyes start going crazy.

Thanks for posting these shots.
I'd never get a chance to see this otherwise.
You've got a good eye for architecture!

I agree. The architectural shots are great. The shot of the piece isn't too shabby either.
