I had no idea where to post this, so here you go :)
I was out at Salton Sea photographing burrowing owls this weekend, and there was a truly incredible sunset. The whole sky turned red, and it lasted for about 20 minutes or so. I spent most of it shooting the owls, but eventually they disappeared (to look for dinner I suppose). So at the tail end I captured this, across the road from the owls. I normally don't shoot scenes like this, but hey, good color, nice lines, and nothing better to shoot... so why not?
The foreground is some kind of farm, the building is a geothermal power plant.

Floris,
Nice image of the power plant. I would guess that this would qualify for "man and nature" since this represents an alternative power source. I would also be contacting the power company marketing department to let them know that i had this image and how nice it would look in their annual report.
Loved the owls, too.

Great colors in the power plant shot, but I really like the owls, well done
Floris, although the owls would be the highlight for me on this outing, this scene here is exceptionally nice for an industrial type image. Gosh, I'm not sure what is planted in the FG, but I did my share of moving those type of irrigation pipes as a teen in many a potato field out by March AFB.
