Seems like a lot of retailers are skittish about inventories this month, including online ones. I've been keeping my eye out for deals on things I've wanted but were a lot of $$. So far this month I've bought a couple of things, to cope with the below zero temps I'm having to deal with during my night shots. These are VERY warm for the money:

I'm now thinking of rounding this out with some mittens capable of polar temperatures, and some boots rated to -80F. Haven't seen the big discounts on those yet, but I'm patient. Time is likely on my side.

Thanks for the links Ken. If the garments don't warm you up the prices sure will! Do they have goose down covers for our cameras?

I don't have a need for anything that extreme but there's some good deals on those sites for other things I'm interested in. Thanks!
