Good afternoon all, hope you are all well.

I took this shot after straying from my main task of SEO's in north Norfolk a few weeks back and have only now just got round to doing anything with it. I don't think there's anything great about it but I just thought some may find it interesting, as far as I am aware you don't normally see these out of the sea/sand.

I would imagine the seagulls wouldn't have given it much of a chance after I had left. Any comments are always welcome either good or bad, it's the only way I'll learn  !!

Sorry Drew this just doesn’t grab me, there’s nothing wrong with it, just one of those things I suppose.

Now, if the weather had been kind to you, a nice blue sky and all that, then I think a shot along the beach, using an ultra wide angle, with the Whelk large in the foreground, would have worked really well. Just a thought.

It looks a bit caught between two stools to me Drew - if it had been a tighter crop of the whelk that might have worked, but I suspect seeing more od the lovely shell in the sandy environ might have worked best.

You have to try these things though so good on you for that.

Hi Drew, it's a slight shame the whelk didn't show a bit more of itself. I agree this one doesn't quite work, but worth a go and good to see something different.
