Anyone up for a shoot in Rmnp early tomorrow? I'm not sure if the weather will clear enough, so maybe Stan can check in and let us know.

How early are you thinking?

the models earlier today were suggesting a break in the action, but wind is a possibility. Live by the model, die by the model they say...

Definitely sunrise somewhere. Channel 4 is calling for partly cloudy at 6 a.m.

Very tempting... And sunrise of course.

The 18UTC (noon) model runs are suggesting west wind and clearing as well.

I will have to see if "headquarters" will o.k. a early morning run.

+I'm coming from Parker, so I don't know if you are on the way and I could pick you up or if you want to meet at one of the visitor parking areas outside of the park. Sunrise is at about 7:15 and I like to be there about an hour before in case the light is really good. I am open to locations, so fire away.

Gotta work, Morris--wish i could join you! A bit of a crapshoot with the clouds banking up the mts from the west, but its worth a shot--any time in the mts is better than time sitting at a desk!

That's too bad, Stan. Maybe next time we could meet in the Springs so we don't have to drive as far, and maybe shoot Garden of the Gods or something.
Hope we get a small break anyway for shooting.

I'm headed to RMNP tomorrow morning to build an igloo and stay overnight. We're picking up Igloo Ed and should be at Bear Lake around 7 so I hope that if there is good light I'll be somewhere near a good location. If not I'll have a prime view for Sunday sunrise (and Saturday sunset) from my "igloo porch". In either case, if you see three nutcases with backpack it's most likely us

I'm headed up that way tomorrow as well (from Highlands Ranch). Small chance I'll be there early enough to join you ...but I'll be in a black Audi if I can get myself outta bed...
