Another image from last winter when I was in Wisconsin. This was taken in the marshes at the Trempealeau NWR on a cold morning.
This is also about as opposite of weather as we have had here in the Lone Star State. It is cool today but it was 70-80 most of the week. I'd like to see a little bit of winter but it does not look like it this year.
Yep looks cold al right. Nice shot though now that I'm back in the house and have a cup of tea. I for one would share a bit of our winter with you but is has made it nice shooting for the eagles. Like the muted color there is something about watching the sun come up.

There is a cold haze hangin' in the air!

I love the mood here and the pastel palette. You have successfully warmed up a very cold landscape and have created something wonderful in the process. Well done!

Beautiful warm light on an otherwise frozen scene. Nicely done, Darren.
Very nice image. I like the warm light as well, it's certainly inviting. I'd prefer a bit more separation between the distant hills and the foreground shrubs/plants - though I see you were interested in including the shadows.
