Winter has finally returned to Colorado Springs. Took these this afternoon. Not sure which one is my favorite. The original/larger versions can be seen on my flickr account. Thanks for looking.

Do these look too sharp?

definitely not too sharp. I like #1 the best--nice!

Thanks for commenting Stan. I'm liking #1 more and more.

I like #1 the best, too, and they're not too sharp. Where did you take these? I was up in Cheyenne Cañon this morning, and it seemed like the fog was breaking up pretty fast, which usually means the frost would melt. But in these it looks like there's still a cloud bank in the distance.

These were actually taken behind my house on the northeast side of Colorado Springs. The fog hung around for a while and when I was heading to class this morning it was 13 degrees, so the ice was pretty thick. I was surprised, though, too to see how long it hung around, considering I took these around 11:45! Everything west facing was holding the ice pretty good, but not so for east facing stuff. Thanks for commenting.

All three are good, but #1 is a more dynamic composition.

I like #2 best, but IMO, it could use some cropping, maybe a little off the right side and the top.

Hmmm, I'm going to rock the boat a little bit by saying that #3 is my favorite. I really like the composition and the position of the clouds in that shot. #2 is also nice, I agree with Jim on a slightly tighter crop though. My problem with #1 is the out of focus elements in the bottom foreground distract my eye the most out of this collection. Just my $.02.
