Price Increase
Effective February 1, 2009, a price increase, applicable to the majority of NIKKOR lenses, Nikon Speedlights and SLR systems accessories will take effect.
Look forward to spending about 10% or more on everything but bodies.
Maybe part of it has to do with Circuit City owing Nikon Inc...........$14,926,445
Nikon did good in 2008, but I think 2009 is Canon's year. Let all pray for some good wide glass!

Wow, now that's some bad debt to write off!
Were this something other than a nature photography forum I'd be tempted to make some commentary on corporate greed, mis-management at the highest levels etcetera, etcetera ... oh and of course how consumers and taxpayers are forced to pick up the bill.
